Awakening From Slumber!
In the name of Allah the Light of havens and earth!May Allah make us have joy -Today and Tomorrow
Which augments happiness , annihilates the Sorrow
The sorrow which is outcome of the unawareness,
The unawareness caused by a life led in negligence.
May Allah make us obtain that wisdom,
Which guides us to salvation and freedom,
The freedom from our low desires,
And salvation to which Quran guides.
May Allah make us purify our lives,
Which makes us see the path,
The path of this life for success,
And the success which gives eternal happiness.
May Allah make us acquire cognition,
Which unravels the mysteries of recognition,
The recognition of His high Position,
The Position which makes us fall in submission.
May Allah make us acquire knowledge,
Which opens our hearts and take us to salvage,
The salvage which kills material lowliness,
The lowliness which harbours meaness.
May Allah make us comprehend the Message
Which that frees us from the Bondage,
The Bondage which enslaves our intellect,
The intellect which helps us in life to select
May Allah make us mature in the intelligence,
Which guides us to the prudence,
The Prudence about reality of this life,
The life which is not for ever-to-abide!
May Allah make us receive the Light,
Which repels ignorance, deepens insight,
The insight which sharpens our vision,
The vision which makes us see His Position.
