In the name of Allah the most Merciful Gracious
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The True Beauty
The world with all its splendors ,
With dazzling beauty and marveling wonders,
With shining faces, and glowing charm,
Has nothing worth which could give us calm.
The false attractions, the hallow craze,
The desire to go oblivion in the worldly maze,
The enrapturing beauty,
Lacks in serenity.
The truth of this world,
As described in the Truthful Word,
All the charms being an illusion,
The truth of this world is delusion.
The mad rush for worldly pleasure,
The desire for all material leisure,
The insatiable thirst of body,
leads to destruction with no remedy.
The world is but a mirage,
Looks enticing from a place a far,
When we rise above the bonds of age,
We find it’s hallow full of despair.
The cause of this gloomy end,
Lies in the mind with material bend,
The negligence of True Beauty,
Leads to a life lacking in tranquility.
The Beauty which does not decay,
The charms that do not dismay,
The thirst which stems serenity,
Lies in Thy remembrance O! the Lord-full of generosity.
The closer one gets, the more enraptured one becomes,
The sorrow ends, happiness comes,
Peace, calm , and serenity,
All are the effects of Thy love and Beauty.
We become Ghani, even without wealth,
We perceive strength, even without health,
We have everything, when we have nothing,
This is because of going near to Thee.
The fears do not impede our way,
The worldly charms do not lead us astray,
The material might does not impress us,
Because we trust in Thy might O! the Gracious.
Thy love has that eternal tranquility,
Which is felt in the hearts-full of serenity,
Thy Beauty has that unending charm,
Which gives always peace and calm.
O! the Gracious Lord, the most Merciful,
Save us from this false world-deceitful,
O! the Lord of might and majesty,
Make us attain salvation through nearness to Thee!

With humble request to remember me too in prayers!
Wassalaam,
Asad.
